About Us
mepcobillscheck.pk is an independent website that helps MEPCO consumers in South Punjab read and understand their electricity bills. It is run by one person, not a company or an editorial team, and it has no connection to MEPCO, PITC, WAPDA or NEPRA.
The site started because the information available online was unreliable. Several MEPCO bill sites publish different helpline numbers for the same office, outdated tariff rates, and claims that you can look up a bill with your CNIC, which the official system does not support. People acting on that information waste time and sometimes money.
What we cover:
- Checking and printing your current bill through the official PITC portal, and understanding every line on it.
- Reading the 12-month history printed on your bill, and what the payment column proves.
- Estimating a bill from your units on the current NEPRA domestic tariff, with the full breakdown shown.
- The fuel and quarterly adjustments as NEPRA notifies them, with a record of past months.
- Applying for a new connection through the government’s ENC portal.
- Getting a wrong bill corrected, including the deadlines that apply and how appeals work.
How we check things. Tariff rates come from the notified tariff schedule. Adjustment figures come from NEPRA decisions and are dated on the page. Process details come from NEPRA’s Consumer Service Manual, MEPCO’s official website and the government’s own portals. Where a figure is disputed between sources, or we cannot confirm it, we say so on the page rather than publishing a guess. Sample bills used for illustration have all personal details removed.
We do not claim to be experts in everything, and we do not pretend to have a research department. What we do is check things properly, link to the source, and correct mistakes when they are pointed out.
If you find an error, email contact@mepcobillscheck.pk. Corrections are made quickly and the page date is updated.
